UPDATE: OUT NOW

Sony has announced on their official
blog that the Firmware Update 2.80 is coming ’soon’ and the playback
quality of some PLAYSTATION 3 format software has been improved.
Nothinng too big seems to be coming out of this one but to go into
specifics some websites claim there will be faster trophy sync times
and faster XMB load times.
